This lesson series offers an in-depth study of thirteen kings who reigned during the Old Testament times. Each lesson examines the historical context of the ruler, his character, his impact regarding faith in God, and practical lessons on how the ruler helps Christians to develop a greater dedication and reverence for the Almighty God.

Description

One of the greatest joys is found in parenting (Genesis 4:1). God designed the home to be the environment in which society would find lasting cohesion. As long as the family unit is strong society will remain strong. Destroy the family unit and you destroy society’s stability. It is because of this reason that God has given us detailed instructions on the home and family. Over the last half of the twentieth century the “traditional family” has been attacked and savagely “re-designed.” Our current culture is chaotic because the biblically based family structure has been erased. Even within the Lord’s Church the family has not been safe! A number of menacing enemies have threatened the welfare of the family within the Lord’s Church. This study is designed to focus on various aspects of biblical parenting and the Scriptures that present God’s plan for parents.
