Description

The pages of the Old Testament are full of prophetic utterances of the coming of God’s kingdom. It would be majestic, powerful and never ending. When God’s kingdom came with power (Acts 2:1), it was not without design or purpose.

God specifically designed the Church to be an important part of His scheme of redemption. Through the Church’s work, souls can be taught the truth and encouraged to obey the commandments of God. After the day of Pentecost and the persecution in Jerusalem, congregations were established throughout the world as the gospel message spread. However, as each congregation was established, Satan lurked to entrap, ensnare, and entice Christians to change and modify God’s design.

Since the church occupies such a critical place in a Christian’s life, we must understand God’s design. Through the books of 1, 2 Timothy and Titus, God has inspired instructions so Christians will know how the Church should operate and function. This study examines these books so Christians can understand how God’s design for church operation is implemented in His congregations.
