Sermons for the Soul (Vol. 2): Building On Character
$8.99
Volume 1 contains 20 full-content sermon outlines that discuss some of the doctrinal issues debated and often discarded as alien to the “core doctrine” of the Scriptures. The sermons illustrate the urgency to obey God and all His teachings.
Description
This sermon collection contains 20 full-content sermon outlines that look at various characters from the Bible and explore how the lessons can help Christians build on their examples and Christian life. The sermons illustrate the importance of examining godly characters and learning from their mistakes and successes. Just like the Hebrew writer singles out great personalities of faith for Christians (Hebrews 11:4-40), these wonderful stories of Bible characters teach valuable lessons of what to do, how to live, and who to follow. When we examine these persons, Christian character is edified and encouraged. A close look at Bible characters can be rewarding because Christians can see the good and bad exemplified so all can achieve a greater faithfulness in life. .
