Description
This sermon collection contains 20 full-content sermon outlines that discuss some of the doctrinal issues debated and often discarded as alien to the “core doctrine” of the Scriptures. The sermons illustrate the urgency to obey God as Paul encouraged Timothy: “Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you” (1 Timothy 4:16). Today’s post-modern culture recognizes no boundaries on behavior or beliefs. This philosophy is illustrated in every facet of our modern culture. Especially troubling is the abandonment of doctrine in religious practice. Often pulpits are silent regarding the doctrine that challenges current beliefs. Christians should take the Bible as the absolute truth and final authority of God, and these sermons help portray some of these important lessons.
