Doctrinal Anchors in Devilish Storms

Description

We live in a culture that fuels a firestorm of insecurity. The chaos and turmoil of media reports feeds anxiety. We live in a society where peace is not possible. These factors have combined to establish a totally dysfunctional society where “wrong” is viewed as “right” and where “good” is considered “bad.” There is a remedy to this tragic environment. Our current cultural dysfunction is not unique to our era. This situation was evident in ancient civilizations. God’s cure was announced and He proposed “anchors” that would provide security and safety to His People as they struggled against cultural storms.

Inspiration urged setting anchors in cultural storms with this counsel, “we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14). This series examines significant anchors that the Christian can use to secure security and safety in this era of cultural storms!
